ELF in UK stores?

(L-R) Golden Goddess, Blush & Cranberry.

Over the weekend I managed to find myself in my local TK Max store, routing through their discounted make-up section. I found many great deals such as three Essie nail-polishes for only £10! But when I came across three ELF products, I couldn't believe it. If you don't know, If you're in the UK you can only buy ELF online via the website. So when I saw this nail-polish set, I grabbed it with both hands and ran. I also saw one of their Beauty Books and a Eye-lash set. Both were in quite bad condition so I only got this set.

It's called the Glam Bam Nail Polish Set, coming with three beautiful colours. My favourite being Golden Goddess which is a golden glitter topcoat. All of these colours will look great in the Autumn/Winter. They're smaller than usual ELF nail-polishes but they still have the same great quality for the price you're paying. This whole set cost just £2.99! I couldn't believe it.

Make sure to keep your eye's peeled when you're next out shopping!

HAUL: Forever 21 & Superdrug!

Hello lovelies! Today I'm doing another haul. Today I went too the Trafford Centre where recently a new Forever 21 opened I just wanted to take a peek! So let's begin.

I've only ever been in one other Forever 21, and when I found out that there was a new store in the Trafford Centre I jumped at the chance at going. The store is huge, full of all of the latest clothes, jewellery and bags. Not a lot actually caught my eye though, there was a lot of 'party dresses' and more nights out outfits. I will still continue to look in but I didn't find a lot this time!

One thing I got was this 'basic top'. I normally buy these from Primark but this one from Forever 21 feels much better quality and it costs the same price! It's a creamy/Ivory colour. Also it's a great price of only £2.50.

The final item I brought was this necklace. It's a cute pendant necklace with a vintage broach at the end of it. It's a nice baby pink with cream on. I love it! I also love the price tag of only £1.50!

If you don't know, Superdrug currently have a 3 for 2 offer on all of their Maybelline products. I originally only went in to get one of their 24 Hour tattoo's but I came out with three products! The first item I got was the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in 06. This is a very nice berry pink colour, it's also very easy to blend!  It retails for £6.49.

I've heard many great things about the 24 Hour Tattoo's so I felt like it was time to try one! I picked up a highly raved about shade, On & On Bronze. It's a shimmery goldy-brown which is great to be worn just by it's self! This retails for £5.

The final product I got was one of Maybelline's Colour Sensational Lipsticks in the shade 148 Summer pink. I've never really heard anything about these so I thought I'd pick one up just to try. I've tried it out once and I can say I really like these. It has great pigmentation and doesn't dry out my lips! It retails for £7.19.

So that's my haul! Have you checked out the new Forever 21?

HAUL: Superdrug, Primark & The pound store.

Hello lovelies! Today I'm going to be doing a haul post for you seeing as I've not done one in a while! I didn't buy any clothing, just cosmetics which is exciting.  So let's begin!

Starting with Superdrug, I was just browsing around the store when I found a shelf full of all of the 'reduced' items. All of these items were either broken or had lids missing etc. I was just sifting through everything what was there and I came across this liquid eyeliner. I have been wanting to try Collection 2000's Extreme 24hr Wear Felt Tip Liner for some time now but when I saw this Maybelline Liner Express I knew I had to try it. Also it had a great reduction of £2.69! The nib is very nice and it's easy to get either a thicker line or a thin one. If you want a review feel free to request one!

The next thing I brought was something I really needed. It's Rimmel London's Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 003 peach glow. This is my everyday powder and I've been out of my other one for the past few days so I really needed to get this!  It's a great price of £3.99.

The final product I got from Superdrug was Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector. After hearing many great things about this I've been dying to get it for when I go on holiday as I don't want to be wearing my everyday foundation whilst I'm in a hot country! Mine's in the shade 'Light/Clear' and I can't wait to try it! It retails for £7.49 (On offer currently in Superdrug!).

Then I just went into Primark (Not intending on buying anything!), But I saw these 24 French nails which I wanted to try as they were only £1. I doubt they'll stay on very long but they look nice!

Then finally I went into Pound Land to get a drink, but I got sidetracked by the large make-up stand my Pound Land offers! I was surprised to find Collection 2000's Skyscraper mascara on the stand! (Obviously for £1...). Normally in Boots this retails for £4.99 so I just jumped at the chance and brought it! It has a plastic brush which isn't to everyone's tastes but I like the look of it so far!

So that's everything I brought today!

My Summer Plans 2012!

Yesterday (July 20th) I finally finished school for the Summer. After what'd been a hectic year for me with exams, friends + personal issues, I'm happy to know I now have 6 weeks off to relax and spend time with my favourite people.

Here's a list of all the things I'm doing this Summer -

- Going on holiday!
This year my dad is taking me and my sister away to Spain. Our nan owns a villa out there so we're going to visit her after not seeing her for nearly two years. We aren't going until August 25th so I've got a while to wait yet! I'm determined to get a tan this year (As I'm so pale!). When I'm back from my break be sure to look out for hauls & more lifestyle posts!

- Going out with friends!
I live quite a distance away from my closest friends so during school time on the weekdays I don't get to go out and see them. The on the weekend they're either visiting their relatives or are busy. That's why I'm glad I now have the time to travel too see them during the holidays!

- Shopping!
I've got some great shopping trip days planned for the holidays. One of them is another trip too the Trafford Centre. Expect quite a few hauls in the coming weeks!

- Relaxing
Before the stress of coursework and exams comes back in September, I feel I deserve to rest up and give my mind a break! I'm looking forward to having a lie-ins every morning and having late nights watching movies!

So what are you Summer plans?

My Summer Must Haves!

Hello lovelies! Today I'm going to be doing my 'Summer Must Haves' for 2012! These are the products which I'm loving right now and I'm hoping to use all through the Summer, even if it doesn't feel like Summer right now in England!

First up is the Natural Collection mascara which retails for £1.99 and you can buy it HERE from Boots' website! This mascara is so inexpensive, but it's still one of my favourites out of the ones I own. It does a great job of giving your lashes a natural look (Without clumps) and the brush is great as it hits every lash.

Sticking with the Natural Collection theme, this next product is one of their duo-eyeshadows. These retail for £1.99 and you can buy them HERE from Boots! This one is in the shade 'Mink & Sable'. Both of these eye-shadows have great pigmentation and are really easy to blend so you can use both of them to create a very nice, everyday natural look.

Next is a very inexpensive product from ELF. Before I begin talking about this product, I'd just like to say - If you're living in the UK then you can no-longer buy these as the website no-longer stocks them. But originally they retailed from £1.50. I love mine, it has great pigmentation and it lasts all day.

Next is this No7 High Shine Lip-gloss. I received mine last Christmas in a gift set. I love this lip-gloss sooo much. It smells great, tastes great and it's a really nice summery colour. I also really like the brush applicator instead of the usual doe-foot! This retails for £9 and you can buy it HERE from Boots!

Now finally a MAC product! I love my MAC lipstick in the shade 'Angel'. It costs £14 and you can buy it HERE from MAC's website. It's a everyday, wearable pink. It doesn't dry your lips out or make them look too glossy. This is by far my favourite MAC lipstick! Also the smell is lovely!

What are your Summer Must Haves?

REVIEW: Nivea Moisturiser Cream

A few months back my skin went through a dry stage. It seemed whatever product I used to help moisturise, it didn't work. Then I saw this little pot of wonderfulness in Boots. I can't seem to find this exact product on the site but here is the same product (Just a bigger pot!) and it retails for £3.39.

This is a great everyday moisturiser. It's not too strong (Which is great for sensitive skin), also after one application you can feel how moisturised your skin feels. Also you don't have to just use it on your face. As it's unscented you can use it on your elbows, knees and even as a hand cream.

It's small and compact so it's easy to throw in your bag.

As you can see I'm getting through mine slowly. A little goes a long way with this so you'll be using it for a while before you require a repurchase!

The one downside too this product is that the cream is a little thick. I've found it can take a while to sink in (Which is why I only apply it just before bed, not in the mornings) but like I've said, it moisturises amazingly.

Overall I give this a 9/10. I highly recommend you try this before you spend all of your money on a high-end moisturiser.

REVIEW: MUA Heaven & Earth Pallet

Hey lovelies! Today I'm doing a review of a highly hyped product; the MUA heaven & earth pallet! This pallet retails for a great £4 and you can buy it from larger Superdrug stores and also the official MUA online store here.

The packaging is basic MUA style, sleek & simple but it also looks a little cheap. But you can't really complain as it's only £4.

The pallet consists of mainly shimmery colours but it does have a few mattes too. All of the eye-shadows are the same great quality which all of the single MUA eye-shadow's are. (See my review here!) They're soft, creamy and highly pigmented. Also they're fantastic for blending to great a neutral look.

Here are three of my favourite colours from the pallet. Also this swatch is taken from just ONE swipe of the colour! Amazing.

So that's my review. I highly recommend you all go and get this! It's also been dubbed as being a dupe for the Naked pallet.
